Well, I actually think I have more than most people... I haven't counted in years because the number scares me. I used to be the sort that only had like fifty at the most and I have far surpassed that over the years.... I probably have over 350 and that is with constant weeding out. This year is the first year that I am actually reading what I bring in the house because both my buying and my reading is down!

Last time I counted both the books I have read and the books I haven't read... it was over a thousand. And that is with getting rid of books that I read and didn't enjoy!

Well my non fiction collection is growing faster than I thought it would. I'm trying to limit the amount i buy though. I still have about 30 books I need to read...maybe more. And new ones come out all the time. Who can keep up!

Interest in HF: I love history, but it's boring in school. Historical fiction brings it alive for me.
Preferred HF: Iron-Age Britain, Roman Britain, Medieval Britain
I really don't have that many. I continually weed out until I have only the gems remaining. So I have 55 on my TBR list.
What, exactly, are you weeding out and why?

I have 35 out from the library at the moment (with 7 waiting there to be picked up) and then i have about 150 books here to read at some point that I own.

On my TBR list (ie. not bought or borrowed yet) there are over 2000 book titles.

No....but they are there so that I know what order a series is in and whether I can get them from the library etc.

I have about the same number, probably more actually, and the sad thing is that they're all on shelves at my house, bought and waiting for me to get to them. I'll be lucky to live long enough to read them all... meanwhile authors keep coming out with more!
