This trilogy begins with When Christ and His Saints Slept, then Time and Chance, and finishing up with the soon to be published The Devil's Brood.

I just started Devil's Brood. I've been putting it off only because it's the last Penman book I have to read (I read all the rest) and I was trying to savor it... but I couldnt hold out very long, and ripped through half of it today! :o

Hi siouxzee and welcome. I loved Devil's Brood but never fear, she's adding one more to the series tentatively called Lionheart. We must be patient....

When I saw Sharon at a book talk a few weeks ago she said the book will be called Lionheart and that her publisher gave her two years to write it instead of the previous three years. She is writing it now, so it won't be that long!

Is anything coming after Lionheart?
Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled
WE´LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell!

Is that about when Richard got captured during the Crusade?
Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled
WE´LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell!

Yes-it will leave off where Here Be Dragons picks up I believe.

I think Penman is shooting for a 2013 release but I'm not sure if that is realistic.
