So there has to be a web image to insert a full-sized picture, right? To insert a photo from our own PC we still have only the thumbnail method?

As far as I know. If I need it in a pinch (and I can't do it at goodreads either unless it's a web image) I stick the pics I want on a private thread at my LJ account and then like magic I have a URL to use.

I tend to save any pictures I want to use to my photobucket account and then use the IMG code to paste here.
