Previous Books of the Month

I think that this is the list of books that have previously been book of the month. There may be a couple of gaps, but if there is please let me know and I will add them to the list. I couldn't remember what months they were for, but this is a start for now.

Going forward we will have a list with links to make seeing what books have already been read a bit easier.

Interest in HF: started in childhood with the classics, which, IMHO are HF even if they were contemporary when written.
Favorite HF book: Prince of Foxes, by Samuel Shellabarger
Preferred HF: Currently prefer 1600 and earlier, but I'll read anything that keeps me turning the page.

You are definately right about The Illuminator but I am not sure on the Count of Monte Christo.

Oh yes, I remember we had the Count de Monte-Cristo just before Mistress of the Revolution (so it must have been in May).

Patrick O'Brian's "Master and Commander" and George MacDonald Fraser's "Flashman and the Dragon".


But I don't remember which months.
