Alas, bought far too many books. But one of them is a must-read for those who like romances, historical or otherwise. I only did a quick flip through, but what I did read was a scream. The book is titled:

Beyond Heaving Bosoms: The Smart Bitches Guide to Romance Novels

The Little Stranger by Sarah Waters
Behind Palace Doors: My Service as the Queen Mother?s Equerry
Tea and Crumpets
The Perfect Afternoon Tea Book by Anthony Wild
Explorer by CJ Cherryh
Precursor by CJ Cherryh
Defender by CJ Cherryh
Wolves Eat Dogs by Martin Cruz Smith
Rose by Martin Cruz Smith
