Just ordered four books at The Book Depository with the 10% discount (Thanks again, Amanda!) : two of EC's books The Time for Singing and The Wild Hunt, Helen Hollick's A Hollow Crown and Kate Emerson's The Pleasure Palace.

I hope it will be helpful too. Someone thought it would be a good resource for me to have, so I decided to give it a go. :)

I ordered from BookDepository:

A Place Beyond Courage and A Time for Singing by EC
Clean by Katherine Ashenburg (history of cleanliness)
Mary Tudor by Linda Porter
Henry by David Starkey (the first one in his new series)
Taste by Kate Colquhuon (history of food in Britain)
The Secret Alchemy by Emma Darwin
The Other Tudors by (don't remember who but it is preorder coming up pretty soon).

Not sure that I can stave off making another order this afternoon!

I bought four more EC titles today from the Book Depisitory:

Daughters of the Grail
Shields of Pride
The Conquest
The Champion

Speaking of the Book Depository, has anyone gone on there and viewed their map? Basically, you can see where people are shopping from and what they're buying... kinda cool.

Thanks, Divia! :)

Will you let me know what you think of Daughter of the Flames? I've had my eye on that and on her other book, The Swan Kingdom, but haven't read either yet.

I just got a fantastic book called On The Edge of Dream, the Women of Celtic Myth and Legend by Jennifer Heath. It's a collection of retellings of Celtic legends with female heroines and the writing is just lyrical and lovely.

Author of the Twilight of Avalon trilogy
new book: Dark Moon of Avalon, coming Sept 14 from Simon &Schuster (Touchstone)

I will tell you how it is :)

Oh, On the Edge of Dream sounds interesting. Hmm, another book on the TPR pile.
