I came across some books I read in my youth that I loved so ordered them...

Into the Land of Unicorns by Bruce Corville
Unicorns by Jack Dann & Gardner Doziers
The Unicorn Quest by John Lee
The Road to Balinor by Mary Stanton
SunChaser Quest by Mary Stanton
The Black Unicorn by Tanith Lee
Gold Unicorn by Tanit Lee
Red Unicorn by Tanith Lee

(yes I know I was awed by the mythical beast and loved everything I read on them)

and a supernatural/fallen angle book
Soloman's Jar by Alex Archer

Had to go into Cheltenham today to buy a birthday pressie for a friend so of course I *had* to go into Waterstones like a moth to a lantern ;)

Still, I did manage to restrict myself to only 3 new books:

Come, Thou Tortoise by Jessica Grant
Devil's Brood by Sharon Penman
The Complete Reiki Tutor by Tanmaya Honervogt

Mind you, considering the TBR pile is already overbalancing, I'm not sure where I'll put them!

There's nothing worse than a 'bad wimple' day! :)

Scored a copy of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo from Amazon for $6. It's going to my mother for Xmas...

Am tempted to put in some preorders for other stuff, but can't really afford anything right now. And my TBR list is quite large enough as it is....

Just ordered "Though the heavens may Fall" by E V Thompson - despite its' romantic sounding title, it's actually a historical mystery set in Cornwall in the 1800s.

bought some Elizabeth Chadwick books today:

Daughters of the Grail
To Defy a King (pre-order)

Also I bought bk 1 & 2 of this series Rogue Angel, from the summary I read it is kind of a Lara Croft meets Indiana Jones, big on historical artifacts like Ghangis Kahn and a medieval sword from France. so we'll see.
