I love the Tudors - it's like a guilty secret. Here in the UK, it shows at 9pm on a Friday evening which is perfect for a bit of escapism at the end of the working week. We've not yet had Series 3.
When this first aired, I tried to be a bit sniffy and moaned about the Georgian carriages, the radiators etc but was very quickly hooked and more than a little bit smitten with Charles Brandon. It's such a sumptuous adaptation - grossly inaccurate but then it's just meant to be entertainment. By now, Henry should be morbidly obese with a necrotic, oozing leg ulcer which would have stank beyond belief and instead we get a very fit JRM and his entourage and I'm really not complaining.
I recently attended an Alison Weir speech and someone in the audience, very bravely, asked what she thought of The Tudors and she had to confess that she loves it.

Well Hever was lovely, very interesting house and gorgeous gardens. Lots about Henry and Anne (naturally!) and the notice did say that when he was young he was very fit and handsome, although I must admit the early portraits still don't convince me! However it was a lovely day out, even the weather held and there was a great atmosphere with the children having a dressing up competition as knights and princesses and getting to parade before Henry who judged them all.

Saw today that Joely Richardson is slated to play Katherine Parr next season:

Well Season 3 is now halfway through and we've just had the death of Jane Seymour. Actually I thought it was quite moving, and the last scene where Jane is lying in state in the cathedral with all the candles round her was beautifully filmed (much better than the overhead shots in "Elizabeth" which just gave me vertigo), and the music was gorgeous. Best things about this series really - the visuals and the music.

OMG the entire series is ruined for me now. He dies? GOD.
I was hoping they would go into Mary's reign but I guess its not as naughty.
Overall, I have enjoyed this series, and I do hope they go to another historical time. *cough Catherine the Great Cough*
