That's xcellent news about your son! It's always exciting when your child has a first "something" at sports.

For me today, we bought our first items of furniture for our new house! And we saw a couple of options for a new bed as well, but need to remeasure the bedroom to make sure they fit.
Twilight of Avalon was named an editor's choice book by the Historical Novel's Society!

Any word on the new job, Divia?
I saw that! Congrats, Anna. The book is getting excellent reviews, too. :D
I found out yesterday that a piece of art that I entered into a show sold -- I classify as one of those 'ashcan' or 'outsider' artists... But it is good. I'll take any chance to sell some of my work.
Wow, congratulations! Do you have your artwork on a site anywhere where we can see it? I love 'outsider' artists.

Best thing today: I didn't lose my day-job, though bad news is 1,000 other people in the department did.

Also, Last Queen paperback went into a second printing; my editor wrote to tell me and said sales were good. Yes! :p

That's terrific, I hope you like it. I didn't even know about Booksfree but I just checked it out briefly. What a cool idea.
