I love cold weather but where I am (Georgia), we tend to get chillyrather than cold. But, yesterday and today, it's gotten down to the lower 20s (at night) and lower 40s during the day -- perfect!

Lynn, you would love the upper Midwest, and possibly Canada. Alaska also comes to mind.

I know...I was born in the wrong place...at the wrong time...

But I am a southern girl, through and through, so I guess I'll stay put!

the best thing about today is that it's the last day I'll be alone...my husband has been away for 4 weeks, and he will be home tomorrow...I cannot wait! whoohoo!

"I have dreamed thee too long,
never seen thee or touched thee
but known thee with all of my heart.
Half a prayer, half a song,
thou hast always been with me,
though we have been always apart." Man of LaMancha

Congratulations, Alaric! Our cold wave is over. So by the end of the day we should have...mud. But that will likely freeze again a few times before spring actually shows up. I expect it to go below zero at least once more this winter.
