Right now, the things going right in my life are stressful and almost painfully promising. I can't talk about what is going on just yet (though I can say, sadly, it's not that I've been agented - heh), but hope to be able to do a little 'get a load of this'-ing soon. My Friday the 13th has the potential to turn out as one of the most spectacular refutations of the "bad luck" thing that at least my life has seen.

The weather is also glorious. I'm sitting here, Penelope happy in her back yard, Gossamer napping warm and soft by my knee.

If things work out, really the thing missing from my life is Mr. X. I don't talk about him online much, but he is someone deeply worth missing. And I do.

My Momma comes home from England after thoroughly enjoying herself on SKP's readers trip! I get to pick her up from the airport and hear all about the trip and see all the goodies she acquired! Absolutely the best thing about today!

It happened last night but the happiness has continued today-Dougal and Padfoot had their first playtime tug of war!! It took a lot of encouragement and cheering, but they both tugged on the toy without Dougal getting scared or Padfoot being too aggressive. In fact, anytime Dougal would let go Padfoot would stand still and wait very patiently for his brother to pick up the other end and start tugging. It was a fantastic moment seeing my two boys playing together and enjoying each other's company for the first time! Not to mention seeing Dougal act like a puppy for the first time in his young life-magical!

Dougal's blog is still going strong so check it out for regular updates on his progress: http://deputydougal.blogspot.com/
