Thank you, Bec. Talked with HR today and I think this about wraps up my Difficult Conversations for the week, so from here out I get to do my job. Worst-case is he'll work through his contract's expiration (I think June, not sure) but I imagine the chances he'll ever get fulltime are gone now.

Madeleine--Oh I'm so glad someone else hates those fascinators, even the small ones are awful, They look cute on little girls but grown women, nooooooooooo!!!!

I remember watching William and Kate's wedding and seeing this woman walk down the aisle with what looked liked road kill on her head! I remember thinking OMG she's found a dead possum and plonked it on her head!!! :D LOL. And then came Beatrice...say no more! :p

Diane--It takes courage to stand up and make a noise about something so wrong, which is usually swept under the carpet and all I can say is Bravo! and thank you. :)

Nefret, how did it turn out? No ants, I take it? ;)

LoveHistory, thank you. I had a wonderful weekend decompressing from last week and am feeling ready to take on the world - or, at least, another week. The dogwood is blooming for its first time, it looks so pretty. My brother's ti plant had a baby. My dog is lovely, stinky, healthy, and so dadgum good I can't stand it. I had WONDERFUL friend-and-toddler time with a delightful friend and her daughter today. Got the house clean and got a little bit of revision in, too.

It is nearly gone now. So, I'd say well. Thankfully, the ants didn't get it.

Two days until my fave class. Whoo!

I'm taking the week off from work starting tomorrow (had to get a Best Practice done for an Engineer or I would have taken today off, too.) Hopefully, I can spend the week in the garden and get some of the landscaping done.

I took Padfoot to Doggy Daycare this morning. I love how first thing Monday morning he is waking me up tail wagging with lots of doggy kisses. He knows Mondays are DD days and just gets so excited! They have cameras there so I can see him run around and play which just makes me smile!

Oh that's so sweet Brenna. We're looking after a doggy for the Easter holidays, so hope the weather stays good for all of us.
