Have friends coming over tonight so I started baking. Peach pie, apple and cranberries pie, and apple crisp. Yum!

*Wants so badly to be friends with Brenna*
:)

I actually have friends coming over tonight, too - not sure what I am making, BUT I do know: we are celebrating a NON-TERMINAL diagnosis. Er - yay for lupus, scleroderma, and Sjrogen's syndrome ... Because they are not pulmonary fibrosis.

Hope you enjoyed DD Sonja, from a fellow Duranie (as we were called over here in the 80s).

Got off work early. Now I am watching some White Collar.

We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled

It's a dessert. You peel, core, and slice apples and place them at the bottom of a 8x8 baking dish. You then mix melted butter to a bunch of spices, oatmeal, flour, etc (I used a premade mix from our favorite orchard) so it becomes clumpy. Then you pour that over the apples and bake on 350 for 45min-1 hour. It's very yummy!!

All of the desserts turned out really well, I was very pleased.

It was great! It was my 4th time seeing them, which is nothing compared to my friend I went with, who is up to like 40 or more times! We're Duranies over here as well.

I took a nice hike at Montgomery Bell State Park. Afterwards, I watched my kids slip and fall (smiling all the while) into the creek. The weather was 70 and perfect.

Found out I got a perfect score on the first quiz in one of my classes. I was a little worried about it, but I did not have to be. :D
