Actually yesterday...almost immediately after the earthquake, my daughter called from England to make sure we were all right. Evidently she was on Facebook when her friends' status started announcing the quake. How sweet!

Yesterday. Got The Sunne In Speldour. A copy that was published in 1982 and is still in good shape. So excited. Wish I had time to read it.

Also got two rooms switched around in the house. Lots of work, but the end result looks very nice.

Two boys had a wonderful first day of school. One in fourth grade, the other in sixth (at the dreaded Middle School which turns out to be not scary after all).

Interest in HF: started in childhood with the classics, which, IMHO are HF even if they were contemporary when written.
Favourite HF book: Prince of Foxes, by Samuel Shellabarger
Preferred HF: Currently prefer 1600 and earlier, but I'll read anything that keeps me turning the page.
