I finished up my temp assignment today, and got a lovely bunch of flowers from my workmates. I was certainly not expecting anything at all, so it was a lovely surprise!

It's nice to be appreciated, especially as I'd only been there for 6 weeks.

And I got a call from a place that I had an interview at this week, saying I'd passed the first round of interviews, and they will contact me next week about the 2nd round.

And last of all, less that a week before I go on my first overseas trip! (Okay its' not today, but as I'll be internetless when it happens, I may as well put it here & now :D ).

Doing the happy dance! :D I finished the first draft of my WIP. Lots of work to do, but the first draft is always the hardest part. I'm going to slog through the rain now and buy a bottle of bubbly!

My best thing yesterday.......

Welcome to the world baby Ryan! He is 3.36kg and 56cm long, so a light weight compared to his brothers who were both over 4kg. He is doing well so far. His brothers can't wait to take him home.

While he is sleeping I can get some reading done!

Interest in HF: started in childhood with the classics, which, IMHO are HF even if they were contemporary when written.
Favourite HF book: Prince of Foxes, by Samuel Shellabarger
Preferred HF: Currently prefer 1600 and earlier, but I'll read anything that keeps me turning the page.
Location: California Bay Area
