Interest in HF: The first historical novel I read was Katherine by Anya Seton and this sparked off my interest in this genre.
Favorite HF book: Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell!
Preferred HF: Any

It's amazing how, if you really want to find something, you do do so eventually! Most members have slowly come trickling back by hook or by crook.

Hi, suppose I should introduce myself! Found this website by accident a few weeks ago, it's great to have one dedicated to HF. I buy books mainly by Philippa Gregory, Elizabeth Chadwick and Barbara Erskine, with a few others along the way, also a couple of Anya Seton's books. I don't read HF as often as I should, in case I get stuck so much in the past that I don't want to read any of my hundreds of books set more in less in the present! I also like historical crime eg Susanna Gregory, C J Sansom etc.
