Jules - great website and congratulations on the new book.
I'm adding it to my TBR list and have just subscribed to your newsletter.
BTW, re the other (tarot) thread - are you familiar with the Matthews's work? They've written loads of stuff on Celtic and Arthurian myth, and Caitlin Matthews did a great celtic myth-based tarot a few years ago called the Celtic Wisdom Tarot.

I was just going to say that your stuff sounds very reminiscent of the Mists of Avalon (one of my own all-time faves) but see you've already namechecked it on your site!

They're currently charging GBP 7.77 (British pounds), which translates as approximatey AUD$!8.00. And that's the total you'd pay-- cool or what?! If you're interested, though, I'd suggest that you get onto it, as they often sell out of new titles quite quickly.
Note: For some reason their prices don't remain constant- if you buy when a book first comes out, it's often cheaper than the later price.
Kellie- have you heard of the Book Depository? It's an online UK bookstore which provides fantastic service and doesn't charge postage on overseas sales! How they do it, I don' know, but I live in New Zealand and I've found them a godsend. The books ordered usually arrive within 7-10 days as well, so they're not sent slow mail. Here's the link for Jules' new bookdo you know the release date for aus or should i just cheat and import it in and get it now???
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! I've posted an interview with Jules on my History Buff site here. I'm really looking forward to reading this book!!!!
Great interview!
Your next book sounds awesome as well.
I also loved Mists and this sounds like something I would enjoy. I can't wait to get my hands on a copy.
Congratulations Jules! what a very attractive cover the book has. I'm looking forward to reading it.
Thanks. It was not what I was expecting, and in fact when they sent it to me I spent quite a few days just looking at it in shock. I think Bantam want the romance market as well as HF / Fantasy, hence the LARGE girl on it (at least she has a head!) Now I think it's very striking - hopefully enough to get people to pick it up! The other shock I had was that I'd spent all this time with my heroine Deirdre in my head, where she was all mine, and suddenly they had put some model there who was actually supposed to be her. It was a very strange feeling.
Thanks everyone for all your good wishes. If I was a quarter as good as MZB when she wrote Mists of Avalon I'd be happy!
