I've seen that picture of her when she was younger. In fact, I almost bought a bio of her that I think includes that pic, or one very much like it (inside, maybe not on the cover). She and George must have made quite a picture side by side. He was quite tall and she was petite (at least by our standards today).
P.S. Went back and looked. It is on the coverof the bio I saw (and I see the author is the same quoted in your article -- I've got to quit skim reading before I post!).
