Amy, that's a wonderful interview. It always helps when you get great replies, but knowing the questions helps too. I thought it was brilliant. :D
I have to say I was not a fan of The Wild Irish because so much was told as back story and it didn't come to life for me, but I recognised that the research was solid and that the author obviously had a deep passion and love for what she was writing about. I will try Robin Maxwell's novels again. It's so right what she says about having to write about strong women, not men. Totally cheeses me off and annoys me, but you have to learn to live with it if you want a job!

Great interview. She was certainly forthright. I must read her novels.

Thanks everyone! Such nice words of encouragement! I couldn't have started off my interviewing with a nicer person and look forward to many more....hmmm...maybe one day with CW Gortner or Elizabeth Chadwick?! Ha!

Amy, I'd be happy to. I'm stuffed with work at the moment (supposed to be working now but procrastinating horribly :o :rolleyes :) . As soon as I get a proper minute I'll PM you. :D

Amy, I am really enjoying getting to know the many blogs put up by people on this forum. Apart from enjoying the interview - which had some great advice from Robin - your blog rocks! This may be a strange adjective, but it looks very luscious, too, full of yummy things to read.
