Searching on eBay
For those who have bought books on eBay, how do you search? By author or do you look in their categories? Like Books > Fiction and refine your search from there.

I'm lazy! I only ever search by author or by title, and if I find what I am looking for then I find it! If not...I give up pretty quickly.

I usually search by author, title, or historical character/subject (e.g., "Henry VII" or "Wars of the Roses"), and I always check the "search description" box to make sure I get the listings that might not list those search terms in the listing title.

I think Ebay's search feature for books sucks! You pretty much just have to have good luck to find a book. That is unless you know a specific title you're looking for!

If I'm looking for a specific book and/or author, I'll just search for that. I'll search for books in my country first, including buy it now options, then I'll expand to other countries if necessary.
Apart from that, if I'm just looking vaguely, I'll browse to the historical fiction category specifically to see if there's anything closing shortly that I'm interested in.
