Interest in HF: started in childhood with the classics, which, IMHO are HF even if they were contemporary when written.
Favourite HF book: Prince of Foxes, by Samuel Shellabarger
Preferred HF: Currently prefer 1600 and earlier, but I'll read anything that keeps me turning the page.
Location: California Bay Area

Physically? Not really. I'm the most ordinary run-of-the-mill WASP female of my age imaginable.

Mentally? Whoo-hoo--- I come from a whole heritage of what are now called 'spectrum disorders' and although I see to have missed the schizophrenia, bi-polar, Asperger's syndrome and ADHD of my various relatives, I do have one quirk which I have become resigned to: the worst short-term memory I know of, and a nearly eidetic memory for text only. Things I hear or watch go in one ear and out the other, but things I read used to stick wth me nearly forever.
Except 'forever' started running out once I rolled over fifty.

And I do a lot of strange stuff, too.
