"Stravangza" series

Post by annis » Thu January 22nd, 2009, 12:45 am

I've been enjoying this YA series by Mary Hoffman; part time-travel, part alternate history, which crosses between 21st century England and Bellezza, a 16th century city which closely resembles Venice. Very nicely done.

I read those as well, and indeed it is very nicely done. You really get a feel for Venice and its distinct culure and habits. I learned a lot and did not expect that from these books
