I saw on the national news that the recall/problem doesn't apply to jars of peanut butter, only to products like crackers, cakes, and ice cream that contain it.

Its not that I don't trust them, but I often find things like this leading to total hysteria. We do eat peanut butter, fortunately purchased before the date that they are concerned about. We aren't going to look for trouble, but I always read these with a jaundiced eye.
