I'm somewhat confused - signed up for another site the other day and then discovered this one as well - so here I am!

Anyway I love to read the likes of Conn Iggulden (just started Lord of the Bow), Bernard Cornwell and Simon Scarrow and hope that I can get some more ideas of other authors from this forum and maybe expand into other areas of historical fiction.

Hi Swampy

Welcome to the site. I just recently read my first Iggulden, and there are loads of suggestions for new authors.

I look forward to seeing you around the boards.

Hi Swampy -

Welcome!

If you like Bernard Cornwell's work, you might like the Jack Absolute Series by C.C. Humphreys.
