Its sad that Howard isnt known for his HF rather than his sword and sorcery.

Love Robert E. Howard

Post by hardboiled1920 » Sat September 29th, 2012, 5:18 pm

Robert E. Howard is the most influential writer in my life. Like John Steinbeck who hated reading until he read Howard Pyle's King Arthur, I hated reading until I read Robert E. Howard's Conan the Conqueror. That single book changed my life. I love to read (especially historical fiction), I have a BA in English, I was a working journalist for 15 years (until I figured out it was keeping me in poverty), I still write fiction.
