2.) Queen of Swords by Judith Tarr (9/10, great book!)
3.) Silver Wattle by Belinda Alexandra (8/10, really liked it!)
4.) The White Mare by Jules Watson (8/10, great book)
5.) The Dress Lodger by Sheri Holman (didn't finish, just couldn't get into it)
6.) Dark Angels by Karleen Koen (9.5/10, loved it, couldn't keep my nose out of it)
7.) Master of Verona by David Blixt (didn't finish, but will try again in the future)
8.) The Wild Hunt by Elizabeth Chadwick (8.5/10, really enjoyed this one)
9.) New Moon by Stephenie Myer (8/10)
10.) Eclipse by Stephanie Myer (7/10)
11.) Breaking Dawn by Stephanie Myer (6/10)
12.) Pride of Lions by Marsha Canham (10/10, great HR, loved it)
13.) Blood of Roses by Marsha Canham (8/10, another good HR)
14.) Swept Away by Marsha Canham (9/10, I'm loving this author)

Goodness! I need to get with the reading! I've just had soo much work related reading lately that some nights I don't have time or all I want to do is veg out in front of the tv at night!!

I just finished Dark Angels and loved it! A great novel, as good as TAGD! I couldn't keep my nose out of it. I loved how the heroine was sort of an anti-heroine. Alice was a great character!! I wish there was a sequal to this one. Something inbetween the ending and Alice's grandaughter's story.

I know what you mean. I posted on the author's blog some time ago (Leland had the addy) asking for more. I seem to recall getting a response that was postive in that regard. I do want to know more about Richard and what happened to change him so, plus Alice as she matures.

I must drag this one out for a reread. I actually read this first before the other two books and didn't have the experience yet with Alice as grandmama. Gad she was formidable, wasn't she?

Formidable describes her perfectly! I tend to really love reading about the less than perfect heroines. She sort of reminded me of Amber in Forever Amber although in a not so slutty but every bit as ballsy way, lol! Good to hear the author will be carrying on with her story! I just have to find out what happened in their marriage! TAGD made it seem like they had such a great strong marriage so I was a bit surprised that DA didn't go into it at all.

OK, so I finally got the Twilight novels out of the way and can be on to bigger and better things. I think it was Diamondlil who called the ending a cop out and I couldnt' agree more! So dissapointed. But they were still strangely addiciting and I couldnt' put it down...dissapointment, groans, and all!
