book of the month voting

Post by Ash » Sat December 27th, 2008, 2:37 pm

We have so many books to choose from each month. The way its gone the last few months, the winner is chosen based on a few votes because they the votes are too spread out. Could we possibly have a run off, say of the top three?

When there is a draw we have a run-off. We haven't had to do it since we have been on this site I don't think, but we have had to do it a number of times previously.

Do people want to vote more than once?

Remember, too, that if anyone wants to discuss a particular book, they're welcome to start a discussion on it without having to have it be chosen as BOTM!

Oh, I know. But I'm used to being involved in monthly book discussions elseforum, and often find them more active, with more give and take, then general book threads. But thats just me. :)

I'm happy to vote more than once. Then again I don't always get around to reading the book of the month!
