Misfit,

The cover is terrible, isn't it? I think there was a period in publishing where every book had to have some naked man on the cover, no matter what was inside and whether it related to the story or not.

Ariadne,
Thanks for the information. I have the Heiress series but I haven't read them yet. They are really old copies so I might want to replace them and I'm looking forward to know the other books that are going to be reprinted. :)

Ariadne, good news. Wonder what the new covers will look like, or will they keep the old outdated 80's covers? I just picked up the Heiress series used at the usual $.01/paperback and they're in quite good condition.

Goodness, that is awful. I suppose back in the day it was shorthand for the genre - and back in the day there were quite a few good historicals that had this sort of cover.
Well, what a coincidence the other two Gellis books sitting on my stack are the last two of the three. I'll have to get KH first though.

It might be fun to do a Listmania on Amazon listing out her books in order and a brief what they are about. She's got so many and the reviews are so few and/or so old you really can't figure out what the story is.
I think that is a good idea, sometimes when people are talking series Ihave to good in search to find the order.

I might do that one of these days. I want to get a few more of her books "under my belt" first. I have a couple coming from PBS.

This is too good not to share,
"The touch drove all but one desire, that one he had tried to resist, out of him. He lurched forward, but Lissa had already twisted under him, sliding her legs up around his hips, and guiding the blind but lively Cockrobin into the empty nest. His delight in being home again created a period of violent activity....."
(Cockrobin being the nickname for the hero's standing man)

Golly, that brings a whole new interpretation to the nursery rhyme 'Who killed Cockrobin?'
Misfit, I think you need to start a diary/spreadsheet/workbook for all these gems!

For that we have a purple prose thread over at one of the Goodreads group. Perhaps we should have one here?
