[quote=""Misfit""]I do own the second book on Kindle. Now to find time to read it...

With all that old book artwork floating around the internet, and now being reused, it's getting tricky finding the original titles & covers. Got lucky with someone over at Goodreads. Book #1 1992, Zebra. Book #2 republished June 2013 by eKensington, first published 1991 by Avon.

It seems to be the new 'thing', and it does look better than a lot of the newer artwork, like the bubble-chested man. As long as the original artists are getting their dues I suppose.

I hope the artists are getting that as well. I wonder how it works though, if rights aren't reverted like in some of these books getting redone by Diversion Books, Open Road Media and others. Are they just buying backlogs from uninterested publishers who are happy to get a few bucks for dead inventory?

Help me out. I know there's at least two books with this woman, older ones. I think one is about Anne Boleyn and the other Richard I/Berengeria but my mind is drawing a blank on the authors/title. Edit: I think I found them.

The third book cover looks a bit like a painting. And I like blue dress better.
Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled
WE´LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell!

It is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Kiss_%28Hayez%29

Interesting that someone chose to take a somewhat famous painting and alter it by making the dress white, the hair blonde, and put a hood over the man.

Ah, thanks. No wonder I liked that one best.
