Dunno, haven't read it yet. It just happened to be out on the desk after I was shuffling the now on kindle dead tree books last weekend. Then I was trolling the overdrive catalog and spotted the other. I might goggle the artist just for kicks.

Not really deja vu, but every time I see this cover as a thumbnail on my Kindle Fire, I think the lady is Anna from Downton Abbey.

Well she definitely is "unlaced" in the first book!

I wonder why she is unlaced in the second? Probably not mystery-solving at this moment in time.

I do own the second book on Kindle. Now to find time to read it...

With all that old book artwork floating around the internet, and now being reused, it's getting tricky finding the original titles & covers. Got lucky with someone over at Goodreads. Book #1 1992, Zebra. Book #2 republished June 2013 by eKensington, first published 1991 by Avon.
