Sorry...I've resized them 3 times and they still post ginormous. :mad: (And.....now they're too small.....)

You should see the original versions of those two books. Then again, perhaps not ;)

Seriously, I really try not to judge a book by its cover. Look at all those lurid ones older authors like Jean Plaidy has and they're anything but. I had a recent romance I read with an older cover that even fans of the older romance covers would hate. It was actually a very good, entertaining read. You just never know.

Embarrassed to admit that I didn't know that this book art was a real person painted by a famous artist. :o

Yeah, she was one of the most painted women of the 18th century.
