Look at these two. I never noticed it before until GR had them side by side on my recommendations.

Never mind, it doesn't look so similar once I had them side by side in larger format and not thumbnails.

Those two are like one of those "spot the difference" quizzes - let's see, her pendant is different, there's more embroidery in the bigger pic, but apart from that the figures are pretty much a straight lift, just a bit of tweaking I think.

What is that pendant on the left side? Can't really tell the details.

All I can see is that it's badly photoshopped, and presumably has puffed itself up through pride in the fact it plays a central role in a novel titled The Pendant.

I agree, it does look photoshopped, not natural looking at all. It looks like the author's changed the cover, so I can't find a larger image than the small one at Goodreads.

The necklace on the right looks nice, and natural.

I forgot I had a copy of this book picked up on a freebie day. I took a screen shot of the cover so we can see a larger image.

Definitely not a real pendant. In which case, why pick something so ugly when the title of the book is The Pendant? People are going to focus on it! Well that's just my opinion anyway.
