Dejavu book covers
I have that one too for the audio of A Place Beyond Courage.
I've seen that on a few other covers, but haven't hunted them down yet. I'm working at work today

Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled
WE´LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell!

Agreed. The fit on that golden dress is appalling - so much bunching and wrinkling.
Elizabeth, I think your cover does that image best, and I don't mean that as a kiss-up; the balance and muting just work on your cover.
As to the purple on the last page - it's not only the color that looks photoshopped, but the dress itself almost looks pasted on. The sharp delineation between the garment and the skin looks "too" sharp. Though that could be the result of photoshopping the color too garishly, it makes it look like the image was one of a naked girl onto which this tatty dress was dropped. Ish.

"To be the queen, she agreed to be the widow!"
