[quote=""Misfit""]Oh dear. And the Amazon page says this is a medieval? Edward VI?

Even without the grotesque photoshopped pendant, this is one of the worst covers I've ever seen.

Interest in HF: started in childhood with the classics, which, IMHO are HF even if they were contemporary when written.
Favourite HF book: Prince of Foxes, by Samuel Shellabarger
Preferred HF: Currently prefer 1600 and earlier, but I'll read anything that keeps me turning the page.
Location: California Bay Area

Edward VI hardly counts as medieval--his short reign was 1547-53. Nor Edward IV, if that's what they meant -- 1461-83 (with a few gaps).
And the quality of that cover does not bode well for the quality of the content.

Reading the verbal-diarrhoea way-too-detailed blurb, that would be quite a hit. Not am I encouraged by the fact that it claims to be a "revised and much longer version" of an earlier novel by the author

And what's up with the not-terribly-attractive bare chested man?

I agree, he's not very attractive. And he should watch out that he doesn't cut his shoulder with that heavy sword. Looks like an idiot.
