Misfit, the Caustic Cover Critic doesn't post a lot, but when he does it's generally hilarious/interesting/beautiful. :)

I'm a little tired/frazzled, and of the red-dress pair, I read the title on the right as "The King's Stress" - which didn't seem very romantic ... This tells me that, visually, there's too much going on there. Also, looking at the image tells me that. Both of those covers: "that's a whole lotta look," as they say.
"To be the queen, she agreed to be the widow!"

I think I have a match here. That red dress and pearls are getting around.

These two are starting to get around the western romances.

FYI, Forbidden Flame is free today. That older cover is something else.

Is it just me or does the guy in the Western books kinda look like Eric Bana?

He does. The girl with the pearls looks familiar too, but I can't place her. Not sure if she looks like someone famous, or just someone I know. Christina Ricci?

I see the Eric Bana resemblance; less so Christina Ricci. Her eyes are big, but in the cover we can see them the color balance is so light her hair looks too blond for me to get to Christina Ricci. :)

The 90s boy updo on Faux Bana has to GO, though. And I say that as a woman who likes a man with long hair. Cheez-o-rama.

I'm not sure if it's Christina Ricci or someone else that I'm thinking of, but it's annoying me!

Oh dear. And the Amazon page says this is a medieval? Edward VI?
