Does anyone have a publication date for the second book in Tim Willocks' "Tannhauser" trilogy? It was supposed to be coming out in 2008, but there appears to be no sign of it...
Wish I had news, other than that I looked in his US publisher's summer '09 catalog and there's no mention of it. Though I had heard it took him almost a decade to write the first book, so I'd figured 2008 was somewhat premature!

"The Religion" is the first book in Tim Willocks' proposed trilogy, SonjaMarie. It's about the 1565 Siege of Malta by the Turks.

Then what is "Blood Stained Kings"? It came out in 1998 and Religion came out in 2008.

T W has written several one-off novels and "Blood Stained Kings" is one of them.

"The Religion" has been around a while now- I think it was first published about 2006, but may well have been recently reissued in another edition.

Crikey, at that rate I'm worried that I won't still be around to read the third one!

David Liss has a new book coming out in March, called The Devil's Company--it's the fourth book in the Benjamin Weaver series.
