There are a few YA books in the next few months. Dunno if anyone is interested in them or not

One is about Nefertiti hmmmmm
Did you happen to grab that from one of my Amazon listmania lists? it looks somewhat familiar.

I was hoping for an ARC of the Nefertiti book, Sphinx's Princess, but they didn't have any at Book Expo America. :(

I did! :)

I thought ohhh what an interesting person she knows YA books. :D I never knew you were on this site! Sweet!

Is the book A Surrendered Heart by Tracie Peterson and Judith Miller a Christian book? Since I live in upstate NY it caught my attention!

Nice blog, btw. I'll put you on my blog list when I get home from work today.

Just noticed that Christie Dickason has a new book coming out in August, about Elizabeth of Bohemia (daughter of James I, mother of Rupert of the Rhine, etc.)

This is very exciting --she led a fascinating life and I can't wait to read it. Dickason writes well about the Stuarts and the Jacobean era. *very excited reader, indeed*

It is a Christian publisher but I'm not sure how religious it is. I am not very religious myself but the setting/story interested me. When I get to reading it I can let you know if it's preachy or not. Sometimes such books are very religious while other times they just don't have what could be considered "objectionable" content like sex, drugs, violence...
