Another King's Daughter?

Credit to my amazon friend Tara for spotting this. And apologies if someone's already posted about it.

I've definitely seen this novel mentioned before, Misfit, but it might not have been on this forum. It's the story of Elizabeth, daughter of King James I of England and sister of Charles I, who married Frederick V, Elector of the Palatinate in Germany and became for a very short time Queen of Bohemia (she's often known as the Winter Queen). Prince Rupert of the Rhine (a Royalist commander during the English Civil Wars) was one of her sons.

Well we're right on the water on both sides so it's not as bad as it could be, and as long as I have my fan on, I'm doing ok, but still feel over heated at times.

Tomorrow we're going to Tacoma and I'm hoping it's not as hot.

And to put this back on track, I just found a new release for 2010, it's in the proper thread:

This is more historical/horror:
"Queen Victoria: Demon Hunter" by A. E. Moorat (Oct 09)

"The novel takes you to the smoggy, cobbled streets of Victoria's vile and villainous Britain, but not as you know them ...A layer of horror will be seamlessly woven in to comedic effect. You'll meet Queen Victoria not as the bitter old widow forever draped in black, but transformed into an ass-kicking killer of evil creatures. It will be so scarily convincing that you'll be certain that in the dark days of Queen Victoria, it was more than just the pick-pockets you had to look out for."

Looks like Michelle started a trend :)
I have an ARC of the Nefertiti YA novel on my shelf, and it looks quite different in perspective and tone from Michelle's version. I loved Esther Friesner's fantasy novels when I was in HS and college, but now she writes a lot of YA historicals.
