Nice! It's always such a trip to see snow on the Gulf Coast - or even on the beach in Carolina and Georgia.

There was enough snow that stuck in the Quarter when I was a toddler that folks made little snowpeople. A picture of me and my brother floated around for years with a NOLA snowman!

You must be my age, then, Leyland. The last significant snow I can actively recall here happened in 1989, when I was a senior in high school. Before that, the only other snow that had occurred here was in the early 70s. My parents said I didn't like it very much. LOL

I did get thicker since those three photos were first taken, but it's since stopped.

I was born today in New Orleans way back in 1961! I don't remember the snow since I was only 2 1/2 when we moved away, but my parents talked about it.
