Put 'Daughter of Troy' on one side for the minute, reading 'In the Wet' by Nevil Shute, set in 1950s Australia.

Finally got round to interloaning a copy of Red Adam's Lady by Grace Ingram- an old favourite for many here. I'm enjoying it, but alas, it's another of those stories I would have enjoyed much more in my romantic youth.

I'm still on my Nevil Shute kick. I loved IN THE WET. Read it years ago so will have to read it again once I finish the ones I haven't read yet.

The Aeneid by Virgil (as translated by Robert Fitzgerald)
Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled
WE´LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell!
- "Into Battle"

I read The Second Duchess and loved it! What a great story teller she is. I may just have to get The Flower Reader, she certainly has talent.

Almost done with God of War by Christian Cameron. What a violent lot.
