Driving a car through a pine forest near Borodino, at night, without headlights. We are being followed.

The Isle of Mona. Started my studies with the Druids.
Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled
WE´LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell!

Oh there will never be another Bertrice Small in my reading life. I'm working on the Angelique books at the moment.

I liked this book. It's on the high-end of YA... could easily have been marketed as straight adult.

I'm currently in mid-19thC British Columbia. I've just founded what will become a timber community. There's something spooky in the woods. Not sure if it's human or a shape-changer or a wendigo (the Indians in these parts use a different word, but I've forgotten how to spell it :o ).

Alternating between Westeros, and Cornwall in the 1930s, with a bit of modern London and Cornwall thrown in.

I'm about to go back to Troy with The Song of Achilles when it becomes available on Kindle March 6. Also, once again to Mycenaean Greece with my research.
