Going to start A Clash of Kings by George R.R. Martin later today after I have done some school work. No school today because of Columbus Day. It's nice not to have to wake up at 5 AM.

I'm in the middle of For Love and Country by William C. Hammond, lovely man! He's written a trilogy of nautical fiction books set in the late 1790's and this is the middle book.
Finished The Kitchen Boy by Robert Alexander and now reading The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton. My first Morton book and I'm liking it.
Yay! The FG is my favorite of her three books.

I finished Lionheart yesterday! YAHOO! I tried reading The Fool's Tale by Nicole Galland last night and I have to say I wall banged it, hard. I don't think I've wall banged a book since PG's The White Queen. I'm sorry, but the author took too many liberties and defamed SKP's Llewelyn the Great and you just don't do that. I will be returning it to B&N ASAP!

Now reading Barbara Erskine's Whisper in the Sand.

I read Fool's Tale before I got into Penman and EC. I wouldn't ever try to go back and read it again.
I finished The kitchen boy the other week - what did you think about it?

Reading The forgotten garden myself at the moment but The house at Riverton (if I remember the title correct) is even better. :)
I was little disappointed. And that last twist just made me mad!
