Now reading 'Magda Goebbels - First lady of the Third Reich' by Hans-Otto Meissner. Better than the last biography I attempted on this lady which I DNF, but the author keeps jumping about a bit timewise which I'm finding a bit off putting. It's keeping my attention though :)

Confederates, a novel by Thomas Keneally, an excellent picture of the US Civil War as seen from the POV of members of the Confederate army, from generals to footsoldiers.

The King's Fool by Margaret Campbell Barnes
Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled
WE´LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell!

I've just started The Haunting by Alan Titchmarsh. I've never read anything by AT before - for those of you who don't know, he's a celebrity gardener/TV presenter in the UK. It's a dual time-frame novel with a ghostly theme, so I'm giving it a go.

Finished The Kitchen Boy by Robert Alexander and now reading The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton. My first Morton book and I'm liking it.
