Bought my grandmother a copy of Lionheart last night at SKP's book signing. Shh don't tell her, but I plan to read it before I give it to her as a birthday gift. :o
No ulterior motive in that purchase Brenna?! ;) Hope you enjoy it!

It made a good plane read. What is yours about?

We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled

Nefret-It's similar to Kate Morton who I adore. It flashes back and forth between past and present with a young woman trying to discover herself by learning more about her grandmother. Nicely done, but lacked character development and left holes in the story.

How was the book signing Brenna? Did Sharon give a talk too?

My latest buy is Treasures of Heaven (non fic) from the British Museum, to accompany the exhibition of reliquaries they have there at the moment.

She read a chapter and then answered questions. Told an interesting story about two towns battling each other and pigs. You should ask her about it one day!

I've stopped buying books. Yes it's true! I decided I have so many books in my TBR pile that it was about time to catch up.

I hear that! I think I'm going to have to only get a book if it's one that I've been wanting awhile and now it's cheap enough to buy, or if there's a book at my local new/used that I can use my credit on.
