Hi everyone. To say I am a book lover is an understatement. I have going on 1,000 books in my library.

I am mostly into non-fiction. My favorite genre is military but I will also do historical fction like the books by Newt Gingrich and Jeff Shaara.

I just love to read, I gotta have a book nearby otherwise I am not happy.

My favorite authors are Shaara, Hornfischer (Last Stand of the Tin Can Sailors and Neptune's Inferno) and Atkinson (The Liberation Trilogy, Long Gray Line and others), Stephen Ambrose and James Bradley.

Favourite HF book: Prince of Foxes, by Samuel Shellabarger
Preferred HF: Currently prefer 1600 and earlier, but I'll read anything that keeps me turning the page.

Hello Raymond. My Dad reads a lot of military history too. Shaara and Ambrose are high on his list as well.

Newt Gingrich writes HF?

Yup. Gingrich writes on the what might have been in history. For instance, he wrote about what would have happened if Lee had taken the flank instead of going up the middle. If the Japanese had destroyed the oil tanks on December 7th. His books are well written and very interesting.
