I walked into a Barnes and Noble and a Borders this weekend and didn't buy a single thing. I think there is something wrong with me.

Honestly, I had my husband check for me as we were getting in the car. He walked out with 5 books. It was like an episode of the twilight zone!

Bought Cleopatra's Moon by Vicki Shecter (YA) and Three Maids for a Crown by Ella March Chase. I'm enjoying the first book. I won't get to read the Chase book until it loads to Mr. Kindle tomorrow, but I peeked on Google Books and found some glaring errors, which gives me pause.

Just downloaded to my Kindle...staying away from royalty (real royalty at least) for a while

A Clash of Kings by George R.R. Martin (A Game of Thrones will be my next read...I think!)
The Wordsmith's Tale by Stephen Edden
My Name is Mary Sutter by Robin Oliverira

Ugh! I had some reservations about getting that from BF, and now it's too late to change my mind. What kind of errors? You can PM them to me, if you don't want to post here.

All I've seen is a few preview pages on Google Books, but there are some bizarre errors, and I wasn't even looking for them. Jane, Duchess of Northumberland, is called Anne (I thought that it might be a one-time slip of the keyboard, which happens to all of us, but the error is made repeatedly); Mary the French Queen is said to have been married to Francois, not Louis, and Jane Grey tells Katherine Grey that Catherine de Medici was said to have murdered Jeanne of Navarre with a pair of poisoned gloves--19 years before Jeanne actually died. And, of course, Frances remarries three weeks after Henry Grey's death, despite Ives' and de Lisle's evidence to the contrary.

Oh dear that's awful, guess I'll wall bang it without reading it.
