Another parcel arrived from Ammie this morning, hurrah! In it were 'The King's Daughter' by Christie Dickason which I've been eyeing for a while, and 'The Ring and the Crown - a History of Royal Weddings 1066 - 2011' by Alison Weir, Kate Williams, Sarah Gristwood and Tracy Borman. There's some really lovely pictures inside.

Thanks is definitely the wrong word. One good thing, it is short so it's over quickly ;)

For my Kindle:

Queen by Right by Anne Easter Smith
The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan (YA)

Some of my students read the Percy Jackson series, so I figure I should read at least one of the books and perhaps more because I am a sucker for Greek mythology.

Historical Mysteries by Andrew Lang[/quote]

Is this the same Andrew Lang who wrote those fairy tale books of different colors?
