What are peoples favourite Philippa Gregory Novels
Mine would have to be The Other Boleyn Girl and The Boleyn Inheritance

I used to like the Favoured Child but that depresses me now

A Respectable Trade. That one was glued to my hand. I enjoyed The Wise Woman too as a creepy tale.

The Other Boleyn Girl and The Wise Woman. I really liked the Wideacre trilogy, but it's sometime since I read them - they were actually my first PG books.

The First Philippa Gregory novel I ever read was the Favoured Child. (Then Wideacre and Meridon) Despite disliking the protagonist Alys, I found the Wise Woman enthralling when I first read it. Am looking for a copy of Fallen Skies which covers the 1920s.

That would be one of my favourites as well as The other Boleyn girl.

My two favorites also, with more weight on Inheritance. I haven't read a Respectable Trade, but one of these days I mean to.

I thought The Boleyn Inheritance was by far her best.

A respectable trade had me rolling my eyes. The love affair between the slave and the white chick was just too much.

Wideacre made my eyes roll when the protagonist explains that a minor character was exiled to Australia. Only thing was protagonist dies in 1775.
People were not transported to Australia until 1787. Oops

Of the ones I've read (not all of them by any means) the one I liked best was The Boleyn Inheritance, mainly for Kitty Howard.
