"Iron Man", bought it on DVD. I just love RDJ in that role!

Recently watched "Man on Fire" Denzel Washington....Very dark, stark and disturbing film...with that said....Washington is outstanding as a ex CIA operative...who takes on a Bodyguard job in Mexico City....Great photography and interesting shots of Mexico City.....Story is very compelling.....plus an outstanding soundtrack...Check it out....

Just finished watching Copying Beethoven with Ed Harris as Beethoven. He was fairly powerful, but didn't match Gary Oldman as Beethoven in Immortal Beloved. I did love the early 19th century Viennese sets and costumes in Copying Beethoven .

I just finished watching The Good Earth. I read the book a couple of months ago, so it was nice to see the movie. It does finish a bit earlier than the book, but at a sensible point too (don't want to give storyline away in case someone is going to read the book).

I now have the other two books in the trilogy to read too.

"Made of Honor" cute movie, Kevin McKidd is hot, I prefer him over Patrick Dempsey any day and now both are on "Grey's Anatomy", though Kevin has only appeared once so far, sigh!

I remember the first time I really noticed Kevin McKid, in the HBO series Rome. I was so addicted to that show my life froze for an hour every week even for the reruns in the off season.

Today I bought a docudrama on Catherine the Great, just finished watching it then. It was rather good - they put it together using Catherine's letters and memoirs, intersecting with narration where necessary. Most of it was in French, though, and there was little Russian as it was a Romanian production.
