Glad I've found you!

I'm delighted to have found this website and to have joined you. I live in the City of London - yes, the teeny bit of London known as the Square Mile (because it is), where just 9000 of us are privileged to live. That means that it's a wonderful place to walk round at the weekend, when all the workers have gone home, and you can have whole streets to yourself. That's when you realise that the old medieval street pattern is still there.

I retired just over two years ago and now I'm writing historical novels instead of dreary business books. What a relief!

I was in the library and information profession, and worked as a knowledge management consultant, writer and trainer, apart from the last ten years, when I catalogued rare books in a university library.

Looking forward to finding some books which other people have recommended and which I wouldn't have found otherwise.

Hi Feona. Are you just discovering HF, or a long time reader? What is your favorite place/period?
